GDP Per Capita: $6,200

Population Growth Rate: 1.997% (58th Worldwide)

Unemployment Rate: 9.7%

Labor Force: Service > Agriculture

Egypt, with a modest, but respectable, GDP per capita rate is clearly not a poor country, but it is rather in transition between undeveloped and developed. This is evident through its rather high population growth and unemployment rates. However, it is notable that rather than relying on the primary sector, the largest distribution of laborers are in the service industry. This is revelatory of its advancement economically.
